Defendant did not question the S14, he did not question the arrest. It’s a mystery why A.C. Rolfe was called (on cvp). Defendant was there to tell the government that he had worked for 20 years in Africa, initially for oil companies, latterly with wind turbines. He had seen the effects of the climate emergency first hand. The government needed to be told, even if he had to be arrested. That was his case, pure and simple. He had his own necessity, not the law’s.
