Case of Thaker (I think) – removed necessity

Jenny had advised Defendant her that she would be likely to be found guilty and advised her not to call anyone in order to save costs. Plea was necessity.

Defendant on stand talked about  her personal experience and all the things that she had been involved in , in her own area (Bedford). Believed that she had done what she could there and wanted to take action in London. Important to do something special to get  CEE noticed. Talked about affects being felt by people in other countries.

Wasn’t  blocking the road as police had already blocked it. “I’ve always done the right thing ; now I am desperate.”
